Introduction

For many years now, we have embraced it: the multifaceted responsibility of our entrepreneurial conduct. Sustainability, social responsibility and quality are not merely words for us. Long ago we set down the values we share in our mission statement on Sustainable Responsibility, and we act and work in accordance with it – and on it – day after day. Every one of our partners can rely each day on our values, such as personal responsibility, openness and transparency, as well as conduct that is at all times legally compliant and ethically correct, both as an entrepreneur and as a human being.
Do Good and Talk About It!
This old piece of wisdom is probably both a blessing and a curse these days. After all, people are often happy to talk more about something than was actually done. Here, too, we want to be different. We want to make things happen – or, put differently: to get to work. We are part of a network with our own production facilities – right up close to all processes, integrated into every decision and part of the supply chain. That is why we also want to report on this in good faith. Substantiated by audits and certificates, which we make available to you here for inspection and download. So that you, too, can communicate with full confidence to your customers and partners.
Sustainability

The term sustainability is used very often these days – but also misused. We would prefer not to overburden the term sustainability, but we would also like to state here what sustainability stands for in our understanding:
Policy Statement / Code of Conduct
As part of our certifications, we are required to maintain transparent reporting.
- describe the most serious risks relating to human rights, the environment and integrity within our own textile supply chain, and which due diligence processes we have embedded in order to avoid or mitigate these risks.
- report on particularly vulnerable stakeholders or groups and explain how their needs are taken into account in the implementation of our own due diligence processes.
- report on measures by which potentially affected parties can contact the company in the event of violations.
Here on these pages – on our website at weberei-pahl.de/verantwortung – we set out our aspirations and objectives and report regularly on our proactive efforts.
